Where do you consider home (i.e. where are you from)? Minnesota
Why did you join STEMulation? Because I believe in both the mission and the founder. Our education system is central to incurring productive change in our society. I think companies like STEMulation will play a key role in that evolution.
What was your favorite part of helping to create SpaceBox? I loved completing the box for the first time on my own.
What is an experience (or 2) that helped you discover/ cultivate your interest in STEM and/or education? Teaching calculus lectures to fellow undergrad students was the best job I have ever had. I loved making math accessible and fun to my peers.
How do you think STEM education can be more inclusive? Make it fun, not intimidating!
What is a random STEM fact that you love? I love that Graham's Number is so large, that holding all the digits in one's mind would turn you into a black hole.
What was your favorite game to play growing up (e.g. video game, board game)? I loved playing D&D.
What is your favorite science fiction movie or tv show? Star Wars!
What book are you reading right now? The Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon
